Artists and artisans represented in the store are paid a fair wage or percentage for their work and they, or their representatives, may negotiate their wholesale prices directly with IN Exchange
We also seek to bridge the gap between isolated producers and buyers. IN Exchange serves as a vehicle for artists to connect themselves and their wares as closely as possible with mid-level to high-end buyers seeking quality, unique crafts and fine art.
IN Exchange also works to educate students about fair trade by directly engaging them with the buyer-seller relationship in other countries. Students traveling to other countries are educated on the concept of fair trade, social entrepreneurship, and grassroots capitalism.
